UNT to celebrate National Graduate Student Appreciation Week
What: Graduate and Professional Student Appreciation Week at the University of North Texas, presented by the UNT Graduate Student Council and the Toulouse Graduate School.

DENTON (UNT), Texas – Join the Toulouse Graduate School and Graduate Student Council in recognizing the accomplishments and contributions of graduate students to UNT during Graduate Student Appreciation Week April 7-11 (Monday-Friday).
The activities will be in different locations at the UNT campus and Discovery Park.

- April 7 (Monday)
9-11 a.m. – Free coffee and bagels provided at the Discovery Park campus by the UNT Toulouse Graduate School at Discovery Park library, 3940 N. Elm Street.
- April 8 (Tuesday)
3:30-5 p.m. –"Diversity and Leadership in Academia" with Yolanda Flores Niemann, senior vice provost for academic affairs in the Business Leadership Building, Room 090, 1307 W. Highland St.
- April 9 (Wednesday)
4-5 p.m. – Meet and greet UNT President Neal Smatresk in the Business Leadership Building, Room 075, 1307 W. Highland St.
- April 10 (Thursday)
Throughout the day – "Thank You" Brown Bag giveaways throughout UNT, Denton campus
- April 11 (Friday)
7 p.m. – "Starry Night" at Wine2, 110 W Oak St. on the Denton square
About National Graduate Student Appreciation Week
The appreciation week was established in 1993 by the National Association of Graduate-Professional Students, as a national initiative to celebrate and raise awareness of the impact and value of graduate and professional students.
