Copyright and Academic Research: Issues in the Publishing Environment

Copyright law and its relation to publishing is constantly changing. This 1-hour workshop is designed with graduate students in mind, but all are welcome to attend. The workshop will explore issues relevant to academia, review the rights of creators and users, describe the legal exceptions to copyright restrictions and how to apply them in day-to-day work, and discuss new developments in Open Access and Open Science. Presented by business librarian & copyright specialist Yvonne Dooley. Light refreshments will be provided while supplies last!

Can't make it to campus? This event will be available virtually as well!
