Learn in 15: Dos and Don’ts of Getting Published

Join pd. education this fall for four 15 minutes upskill breaks each week.

For the same amount of time you would spend drinking a coffee, you will keep your understanding of the subtleties involved in graduate school going forward.  Mondays give you an overview, Wednesdays go into detail on a topic, Thursdays give you practical steps to bring the learning or skill home and Fridays use the wooclap address and answer everyone's questions.  Feb, March, and April the first week will be related to academic writing, the second week about graduate TAships the third week on preproposal research design and prospectus writing, and the fourth week on data analysis, results, and finishing.

Learn in 15: Open Office Hours - After "Dos and Don’ts of Getting Published"

Getting published does not have to be a big deal, not if you follow the steps and are willing to learn from critical analysis.  This webinar will take you through the steps and answer your questions about 1) choosing the publication, 2) using models when you write, 3) being aware of your argument and 4) reviewers' comments.

If you have a publication in mind - send the guidelines to alana@doctoralnet.com beforehand and we'll use those as examples.

If you know the questions you want to be answered go to www.wooclap.com/publish and register them - even if you can't make the live event the answer will be in the recording
