Systematic Reviews: An Introduction to Evidence Synthesis

UNT Libraries host events throughout the year, both in-person and virtual. These can include workshops, instruction sessions, and classes.

In this virtual workshop, Laura Haywood and Hayley Brunner, Research and Education Librarians at the UNT Health Science Center, will introduce participants to assorted types of evidence synthesis (systematic review, meta-analysis, scoping review, etc). By the end of the session, participants will be able to locate relevant guidelines, methodologies, and resources; explain the structure of a review paper; demonstrate knowledge of question formulation frameworks; and differentiate systematic searching from general information retrieval.
